Advance token amount paid by tenancy applicant may be refundable if the applicant doesn’t like the property or the applicant doesn’t take a decision to sign-up the property within stipulated period of 3 working day. In such cases, the refund process will be initiated within the web application workflow and Easyleases operations team will manually initiate the refund through electronic mode in favour of the applicant and confirmation sent to client’s mailing address registered with Easyleases, within a period of 7-10 business days
Property Token Advance, Rent, Maintenance or ad-hoc charges once paid through the payment gateway shall not be refunded other than in the following circumstances:
1) Multiple times debiting of client Card/Bank Account due to technical error OR Candidate's account being debited with excess amount in a single transaction due to technical error. In such cases, excess amount excluding Payment Gateway charges would be refunded to the candidate.
2)Due to technical error, payment being charged on the client Card/Bank Account but the payment details update in Easyleases internal systems is unsuccessful. Easyleases payment data for the client would be updated at no extra cost to client. However, if in such cases, client wishes to seek refund of the amount, he/she would be refunded net the amount, after deduction of Payment Gateway charges or any other charges.
The client will have to make an application for refund along with the transaction number and original payment receipt if any generated at the time of making payments.
The application will be processed manually and after verification, if the claim is found valid, the amount received in excess will be refunded by Easyleases through electronic mode in favour of the client and confirmation sent to client’s mailing address registered with Easyleases, within a period of 7-10 business days on receipt of such claim.
